Professional soon to be 30, looking for like minded roommate(s) to share property with. Looking to join a shared home or create a new shared home with someone(s) who is/are understanding and responsible. I am from San Diego and graduated from UCLA, but have lived in the Bay Area for 7 years. I finished law school here (UC Law SF), and have stayed ever since. I know of a lot of scenic views and good eats in both SF and Alameda County.

Housemate Philosophy: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” We are adults we should be able to clean up our own messes, to prevent eroding the household’s harmony. I occasionally sweep, wash dishes, or wipe up something if that thing catches my attention. I am open to periodic professional cleaning in addition to us maintaining the home’s shared spaces. Communication. Communication is very important when sharing space with strangers. Expectations and little issues should be communicated to protect the home’s harmony. Would be interested in coming together to draft a formal roommate agreement as a constructive way to create a mutually beneficial living environment for us.

My Interests: I enjoy cooking and making meals I hope others enjoy, but I am very slow at prepping ingredients and cooking. I enjoy all genres of music, primarily R&B and hip hop. Music improves mood by triggering the release of dopamine and endorphins in the brain, which promote feelings of pleasure and motivation. Listening to a favorite track can also lower stress hormones, helping to decrease anxiety and relieve physical tension. Open to us playing our music occasionally in the home. I watch mainly sci-fi television shows (Silo, From, For Mankind) and occasionally reality tv (90 Day Fiancé).
I am open to living with people of any age, gender or background, as long as we seek to understand each other. I work M-F in my office in San Francisco, and occasionally travel outside of the state for work.

Not Looking For I am not seeking a roommate or joining a property with someone who has an indoor pet or smokes in the home.

I would be interested in us having our own bathrooms, if possible. I am looking to room with someone who will be in the shared property for a year minimum.
