hiya! my name is shay i’m from AZ born and raised (pure bred desert rat if u will lol) and i’m looking for a good room for rent situation! i’m a female, 26 years old and im currently an accounting student. im getting a bachelors in accounting/finance. i start my 3rd year in august so that keep me busy :). i’ve had plenty experiences with this roommate situation so here’s what i’m NOT looking for:

1. NO male roommates. females ONLY preferred (this excludes couples/gay men. i’m firm on NO single, straight males based on traumatic past experiences)
2. NO trump supporters. i’m a person of color and im anti-MAGA. NO debating on that.
3. Cannabis friendly ppl please! i smoke and i work at a dispensary :) i been in the cannabis industry for over a year. i don’t judge others who choose not to, i know it’s not for everyone. but, im only interested in rooming with ppl that don’t mind. i dont smoke cigarettes jus flower 🍃. i strictly only smoke outside.
4. NO drama. i’m a very quiet individual when at home. i keep to myself and i don’t like drama AT ALL. i don’t throw party’s, argue/fight or bring a lot of traffic into my home. that’s an absolute NO-GO for me.
5. NO KIDS! not at all interested in renting if there’s kids in the home. for me, my comfort comes first and that’s it. NO KIDS. fur babies/ dogs are absolutely allowed as long as they’re hypoallergenic. i’m allergic to pet dander :)
6. NO old ppl. no offense to anyone 40+ but most of the listings on here, they’re looking for older roommates. i want to roommate with ppl closer to my age that are as likeminded as me.
