I’m Hans from Belgium, looking forward to starting a post-doc in Princeton soon.

I recently finished my PhD in Electrical Engineering at KU Leuven in Belgium. I’ve had the chance to visit and enjoy life at Princeton for a month in Nov. 2025 and fell in love with the campus and the surrounding nature. I look forward to returning for what’s planned to be a 9-month post-doc.

I’m into traveling, photography/videography, hiking, Formula 1, and watching movies. Most of my spare time is spent with friends/family or working in the garden or around the house. In Belgium, I live with my fiancée, who will stay in Belgium for her dermatology residency.

I am always happy to socialize and meet people, but I also quite enjoy keeping to myself. I keep things tidy and am pretty easy-going when it comes to co-housing.
