I live alone with my mother in Nyack so I can’t speak to current roommates, but I can speak to the kind of housemate I am. I’m someone who genuinely enjoys shared living when it’s done with intention morning hellos, occasional shared meals, real conversations, and also knowing when to give people space. I don’t bring drama home. I cook and clean up after myself without being asked. I’m expressive and communicative when something needs to be addressed, and easygoing about most everything else. I’ve hosted strangers in my home as an Airbnb Superhost for years and have consistently maintained 5-star reviews, which I think says something about how I treat a shared space and the people in it.
