Currently living in Denver and planning to move to Seattle in the fall. I know it’s still pretty early but I am looking to rent a room in a house ( or apartment) of like-minded individual(s) whether that be a shared house, Co-Op (housing cooperative), intentional community, communal living, collective housing, etc. - . My intention with this post is to see if there is anyone that might already know that they are potentially looking for a roommate. I am coming to visit Seattle August 6-10 and it will be awesome to meet potential roommates! What I am looking for: Ideal move in: October or November ( flexible), open to signing a lease or month to month. 32 year old gay/ queer, anti-zionist jewish male somatic based mental health therapist, originally from Philadelphia/ South Jersey area. I own a private practice that I plan to expand to Seattle, working virtually only out of my room until I am able to find an in person space. I am independent, social justice orientated ( fuck capitalism) neuro-divergent, silly, highly sensitive, fairy , outdoorsy, nerdy, introverted- extrovert. Very passionate about relational based practices ( i.e learning how to best support one another through this crazy time) , psychology, universal healthcare, herbalism, and ritual. Hobbies include: playing board games, shooting film photography, frolicking in nature ( foraging, hiking, camping), rock climbing, DND, MTG, Pokemon, astrology, exploring new restaurants, watching films, dancing to live music, watching trashy reality tv( guilty pleasure) , reading books ( esp. sci-fi dystopian novels) would love to join or form a queer book club too:) Pet: I have a 10 year old dog named Leo- he gets along great with all animals. He is very chill, loves to lay around, chew his bones, and snuggle inside the house, He is lovable and quiet (unless Amazon delivery driver arrives he will bark once or twice). He is an ESA certified animal. I’ve had a deep calling to the PNW to live at sea level by the coast after living in Denver, Colorado, landlocked and in a very dry climate at altitude for over 15 years. It is hard to leave my community but I feel called to see what else is out there in the world. Open to new friends as well!!!
