I’m a commercial director, cinematographer, photographer, and artist with about 15 years in the fashion and beauty industry, working with major brands. I’m 43, originally from the Northeast — I lived in NYC for 18 years before spending the last 7 in Los Angeles, and I’m making my way back. This summer feels like the right moment to reroot: reconnect with friends, take meetings, and feel the city out again. I’m looking for a steady, comfortable place to land while I do that — open to longer stays at the right place. Day to day, I’m pretty low key. I’m an early riser, though not always early to bed. I work from a laptop — emails, creative work, design — and tend to keep to myself. I’m vegetarian/pescatarian, cook simple meals at home, don’t smoke, no pets. Respectful of shared spaces; I keep things clean and quiet. I also travel for work occasionally, so there are quiet stretches too. What I’m looking for:

Room 120 sqft or larger, furnished preferred (open to unfurnished if it fits a bed and a large desk).

Ideal neighborhoods: Bushwick, Ridgewood, Greenpoint, West/southwest Brooklyn. Solo unit or shared with 1–2 roommates. Budget around $1,700/mo, flexible depending on what’s included. Move-in anytime between now and November.
