GRETA CAPPELLO

My name is Greta, and I’m from Italy. I’m currently finishing my PhD in Space Science in Austria, and I’ll be moving to DC in September to start a postdoctoral position at NASA Goddard.

I’m looking for a room with a 1 or 2-year lease, ideally starting around September 1st. My preferred areas are Eastern Market, Capitol Hill, or NoMa, as they seem to offer a decent commute to Goddard while also being great neighborhoods to enjoy city life.

I’m hoping to find a bright and spacious room with a private bathroom. I absolutely love the character of DC row houses, but I’m also interested in apartment buildings with amenities such as a gym and pool. A parking spot (garage or street parking) would be a big plus, as I may decide to buy a car in the future.

A little about me: I’m 28 years old and love running, ceramics, traveling, cooking, hosting dinners occasionally, and trying new restaurants. One of the things I’m most excited about is meeting new people in DC and explore the city. I’d love to share a home with people who enjoy good conversations and sharing some meals together. I’m very clean, respectful, and easygoing, and I appreciate a tidy and well-kept living space. I am liberal and LGBT friendly.
