I’m sage! I’m transfem/nonbinary and have an autoimmune disease called MCAS which, among other things, severely limits my energy and causes severe environmental allergies.

That unfortunately means: -no smoke -no pets :( -no perfumes/fragrances in the house -no mold -low light -caution surrounding new furniture and furniture in the common spaces - the VOCs (volatile organic compounds, like flame retardant or detergent or a billion other things) make me very very sick. -and quiet time in the evening until morning, with general quiet throughout the day (i.e. no parties, don’t have a billion guests over at once, keep TV at tolerable levels if you watch, etc.)

Basically just general considerations for a roommate, just with a couple other things on top.

Overall I’m friendly, quiet, and pleasant to be around. Due to my energy limitations hygiene can sometimes be a struggle for me to keep up with but I promise if I get a bit stinky then I will hole up in my room.

I do not often leave the house due to my energy limitations, unless absolutely necessary so I will likely always be home. I value rest and accomodations for EVERYONE, so I intend to fulfill what I can to the best of my ability for anybody that wants to share space with me.

Last notes:

-Queer + trans preferred !! It just makes everything so much easier. No real gender preference aside from no cishet men please. -I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to rent out a space and live on my own as much as I can manage, and I want to respect the time and money of the folks that are assisting me at this time. Please be cautious of how you treat the space we choose to rent together. -I intend to recover most, if not all, of my functioning that I lost since getting sick, so do not be surprised if you see me regaining energy and capacity over time.
