My last landlord used to wonder if I were home at all. I’m gone a lot, and when I’m here, I’m quiet, very much a books and cats and cocoa kind of person. I’m an English teacher and have worked for my tutoring company for 14 years. I don’t drink or smoke and have to pass a background check for my job. Contessa for her part is a great cat, 3 years old, very sweet and gentle. She’s very clean and well-behaved, litter box trained, uses her scratching post, has regular checkups, and lives indoors only.
