I’m David, and I’d be sharing the home with my mother, Regina (83), whom I care for. We’re quiet, clean, respectful, and easy to live with — we keep to ourselves but are friendly, and we’re looking for a stable, long-term home rather than a short stay. We don’t smoke. We have one well-behaved, neutered indoor cat. My mother is in good physical health and gets around well on her own. She has mild, age-related short-term memory loss, so she’ll repeat herself now and then, but she’s calm, gentle, and content, and enjoys simple days — watching TV, playing solitaire, and going for walks. I provide all of her care personally, so a housemate would never need to help with her in any way. What I bring beyond reliable rent: I’m handy and genuinely glad to help around the house — repairs and maintenance, yard work, heavy lifting, driving and errands, and tech or computer help. I’m a dependable, considerate person to share a home with, and happy to provide references and pass a background check.
