I’m Dom, Chicago local for 20 years (Maryland born, Chicago made). I’m a flight attendant with American Airlines, so I’m genuinely gone a lot, which is a pretty great quality in a roommate. When I’m home, I’m chill, and I keep my space clean.

I’m not a hermit, though. I bake, like, actually bake, so the kitchen will occasionally smell amazing, and I might even make a tasty treat for you. I also sail competitively, scuba dive, travel for fun whenever I can, and teach part-time at Loyola. I live a busy life, but I definitely know how to relax and chill when I’m not working.

I’m looking for a place where we’re friendly, respectful, and not in each other’s business 24/7. I haven’t had roommates in a while, but the last time I did, we lived together for 5 years, became best friends, and are still close today. So I’d like to think I’m pretty good at this. One thing worth knowing: I’m gay, and I’m looking for a space where that’s a non-issue - whether you’re part of the LGBTQIA+ community yourself or an ally. No drama, just want to feel at home.

I don’t smoke and ask that you don’t either (at least not in the house). Given my job, I can’t partake in the fun stuff, but it’s totally okay if you do.
