hey y’all, BJ here. Bartender and server in Brooklyn. Been here 4 years now. Originally from LA. I spend a lot of time doing activist work, gardening, going to the park, and hanging out with friends. I am either out of the house, reading and writing, or cooking 85% of the time. My three biggest things I want in a roommate is someone who is clean, mindful of sharing space with others, and a clear communicator. I spend a lot of time reading so I appreciate headphones or just a courtesy check when playing music. I enjoy developing relationships with people but that is not something I need from a roommate at this stage in my life, though I am open to it.
