Mid-career remote professional looking for a furnished private room and bathroom in San Jose for 2-4 months, starting August 2026. I work from home during standard business hours, so I need a stable wifi connection and a reasonably quiet daytime environment. I do not have a car, so I am prioritising locations near VTA light rail, Caltrain or BART — Willow Glen, Campbell, Burbank, Santa Clara and along western Bay are all a good fit. I am a clean, responsible non-smoker in her 40s and am looking for a clean and cordial female roomie. I’m looking for:

• Private furnished room, with private bathroom
• Kitchen and washer/dryer access
• Budget: $1,200-1,600/month for a room, up to $1,800 for a self-contained studio with private bath and kitchen
• Move-in within 2-3 weeks
• Lease length: 2-4 months, with flexibility on exact end date.

I am okay with pets, but not smoking. I can respond quickly to messages and am flexible on video call or phone screening before an in-person visit.
