Hi! My name is Starr. I’m a 23-year-old Black woman originally from Chicago, and I’ll be relocating to Connecticut for a new opportunity as a Newscast Producer at WFSB.

I’m looking for roommates who are respectful, communicative, and have their own goals and ambitions, but also know how to relax and have a good time. I’m pretty laid-back, drama-free, and easy to live with. Cleanliness is important to me, especially in shared spaces like the kitchen and bathrooms, and I believe good communication goes a long way toward handling guests, setting boundaries, and keeping the household running smoothly.

Since I’ll be new to Connecticut, I’d love to live with people who are open to building a genuine friendship. I’m especially hoping to connect with other young professionals and would love to find fellow POC roommates. It would be great to have roommates who can show me around, explore the area together, and help make a new place feel like home.

When I’m not working, I’m pretty chill, but once you get to know me, I’m definitely goofy and love to laugh. I’m always down for movie nights, trying new restaurants, exploring the city, or having a casual girls’ night in.

I also have two well-behaved cats. They’re a big part of my life, and I make sure to keep up with cleaning and caring for them, so they won’t be anyone else’s responsibility.
