Howdy! I’ll start off by saying I’m trans (FTM), so even though I lack the blue hair, if pronouns scare you please DNI (do not interact). Mine are he/him btw. Respect/support of my way of life is a non-negotiable 💖🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️.

About me: I’m a shy-at-first and laid back dude working as a full-time WFH Pharmacy Technician for a pet company (yes I CAN hook you up with a pet supplies discount if we live together btw😎). I’m currently studying to get my national certification. My hobbies/passions are sewing and cosplay, alternative fashion, digital and traditional art, video games, and watching anime/anything 2D animated. I have some disabilities/chronic pain issues that affect my mobility.

I have an ESA and absolute light of my life small chihuahua named Sebastian. He’s 13 and can be cranky at first, however once he realizes he can get treats/attention from you he warms up pretty quick. Not a yapper and was raised with cats and various sized dogs, so other pets aren’t an issue (I am technically allergic however I find ways around that because I am an animal lover lol). My dad adores him though and regularly asks to snag him, so if you have a pet that needs time adjusting to a new place first, that’s an option too!

I prefer a clean place. I’m patient, value direct communication, and respect boundaries. I’m on the introverted side, however am always open to the occasional roomie movie night/game night if our personalities line up! Ideally looking for roomies close in age to me.

My situation: My current lease is up in July, and I’m hoping to find a roomie or more affordable place to avoid having to move in with family in middle-of-nowhere conservative Texas. There is an option of taking over my previous roomie’s master bedroom in my current 2BR/2BA apt in Plano once the lease is up, however this place is pretty pricey ($1,749 just for base rent. Typically gets up to $2,000 before internet and energy with all the fees). I’m really wanting to prioritize building up my savings.

What I’m looking for in a space:

• private room + own bathroom (non-negotiable)
• ideally pet-friendly, however since my little dude is an ESA there shouldn’t be an issue
• In unit Washer/Dryer and AC (non negotiable)
• ideally unfurnished as I have plenty of furniture, silverware and plates, kitchen appliances, lamps, etc. I’m fine with sharing as long as my stuff is treated kindly!
• located in DFW, especially partial to Denton, Plano, Richardson, or Arlington, but I’m open to other options. LGBTQ+ hubs/community are ideal
• okay with friends visiting on occasion. I have a small, tight knit group of cool people. Not really the partying type, so no worries about noise. All nerds lol.
• ideally first-floor or elevator accessible due to mobility issues. I can still use stairs, however it gets tough during a pain flare up.
