Arthur & Crescent

My name is Arthur Lee Bennett, my wife Crescent and I are looking for a living space near Montclair. We drove across the country last month from Bellingham Washington. My elderly mother has recently received a terminal stage IV Pancreatic Cancer diagnosis and my wife and I have come to help her through her chemotherapy and upcoming palliative care situation. Her prognosis is 6 to 16 months. My wife works for the Hilton Corporation and has transferred here locally and has full employment. I went to High School here 40 years ago at Potomac but have not been back to the area in many years. My Mother and Father have lived in Montclair for 40 years and she will be doing her palliative care there. There is not room at their home with siblings and other family here and my wife and I are looking for a quiet and safe space to live. We are willing to sign a lease. We would like something shorter term but are flexible for the right situation. We do have a small spayed and litter box trained cat that we would like to be with us but this is not a deal breaker since the cat could continue to stay at my parents home. All background information, applications etc are no problem. We do not smoke, no children, only 1 car. We have been staying in Hotels and Air B and B’s for three weeks and are anxious to find a more permanent and affordable situation.
