Hi! My name is Kat, and I’m moving from Hollywood, CA to RI! I have written, directed, starred in, produced, and edited 2 feature films that got world wide distribution and won some awards (you can check them out: Borrelia Borealis and Valleyheart) — and if you can believe it, there’s more film opportunities in Rhode Island for me right now than LA, which has been my home for nearly 20 years. It is time to move on. The tech bros won, it’s really sad. I’m very creative and quiet and respectful. I have a really big heart and love to take long walks or have long conversations with friends on the phone. I don’t have family to speak of, so my friendships are very important to me. I’m very honest and authentic, and clean + tidy! I work in a hybrid position, so some days I’ll just be working from my laptop at home or in a cafe, and other days I am out in the field, it varies! I have two films I’m getting made soon in the Rhode Island/New England area that might take me away for a few weeks out of town. I am leaving a very abusive marriage here in LA, divorce should be final any day now, and just need a calm atmosphere and kindness. I love reading and watching shows and movies and exploring esoteric topics in my free time! I’m very chill, can roll with the punches, and love RI - excited to start my new adventure out there. I won’t be able to tour places in person before I move out, so it’ll have to be via video chat! :) I may or may not have a car, I’m waiting for the divorce settlement to get figured out.
