Hello! I’m looking for a roommate or housing in Mountain View / anywhere between Cupertino and San Mateo. I’m flexible on the date - I just relocated to the South Bay, and feel like I’m wasting money on rent living by myself. I have a dog, and as such am ONLY interested in houses or duplexes with a backyard!

About me: I am 28 and work hybrid (2-3 days in person/week) for a big tech company in Cupertino. I’m fresh out of grad school with a PhD, so ideally looking for other professionals who like to have fun on the weekends. I’m into hiking, triathlons, museums, bars, trivia, eating good food, traveling, etc. Weekdays I am quiet and enjoy my routing of gym and work and exercising my dog.

Pet: I have a 5 year old border collie who is an ESA, so housing does not explicitly need to allow pets. He gets along very well with humans and other pets, so I’m very open to a roommate with a dog or cat. He’s super chill, obedient, intelligent, and a stereotypical border collie. But for this reason I need a place with a yard.

Budget: Up to $2300/mo but a bit flexible. Open to paying more than 50% of the rent if you are available to feed or let my dog out when needed. Explicitly not asking for anyone to take care of him, just to be open to the idea of it happening if I have to stay late at work.

I’m looking for a place with easygoing, considerate roommates. We don’t have to be best friends but I would love to socialize if we’re both in the kitchen for example. Looking for a roommate with decent cleanliness and professionally (i.e. you pick up after yourself, keep common spaces mostly clean, do dishes at least every other day, and aren’t unreasonably loud during the week) If you think it could be a fit, feel free to message me!
