Full Disclosure (with a grain of salt): I’m a middle-aged woman who has found herself on a completely different journey at this point in life than I ever anticipated. Ran into some health issues a few years ago that threw my life for a loop and unleashed complex PTSD from lifelong trauma. High functioning, hyper-independent professional in demanding instrustry, to stepping away from career and ending long-term (10-year) lease to reassess and regroup.

SO! I’ve been focusing on getting my health in order and launching a restart! I’m going back to school and working full-time at McHenry Hospital. I hope to be able to transfer out of the hospital when the right spot opens and continue my career with NW.

SEEKING: an individual or family who is kind, welcoming, and understanding. The type of people who care about others without conditions. Prefer non-religous and more nature loving. Would love to find a room on a farm but imagine that’s a dream.

HOUSING: a well-kept space where I can find peace, quiet, and safety/security. Be assured, I have already been prescreened through a background check to obtain my in-hospital job. I will complete any necessary screening to make a homeowner comfortable. I would hope they are equally open to the same. I was a paralegal in my past life. :-) I have two very chill, non-destructive, always use cat tree or cardboard scratcher and litter box-cats (one older, one middle-aged) that are fine being in a bedroom with me and a cat tree + view of some birds outside + litter/food/water/supplies (sequestered in room, if needed, but my kitties have been great with each other, so we may be able to slowly introduce them to other equally chill cats-open to input and ideas). Totally fine if they need to be in the room. I make sure they have plenty of enrichment. They are all that I have left of my prior life and my family, so 100% non-negotiable.

I have two adult children that will not be living with me, but will visit. My son lives locally and attends college. He is 21. My daughter works in Wisconsin. She is 30. She visits occasionally due to long work hours, but we text and call every day. I have no other family to speak of.
