Hi, my name is Ragu. I am a 52-year old divorced professional, relocating to the Portsmouth area. I am looking for a room to rent in Portsmouth, or an adjacent town for at least the months of May 2026 through September. I’m open for 12+ month rentals, though I’ve got a small dog to tag along with me. I’ve got an adult daughter who is graduating college next month, living in California.

I’m most likely to get along with someone who has a professional job and a stable routine, active and outgoing. I will NOT have overnight guests or tinder dates:D, or have wild parties – but a social person nevertheless. I’m liberal in my political leanings and most likely to get along with someone just as liberal, and socially accepting of all people.

Age, gender or other orientation doesn’t matter, but professionalism, cleanliness, stability and friendliness are important for me. You’ll generally find me keeping to myself except to engage you with a caring, friendly roommate personality. Open to all pet owners, especially dog owners! I’m ok with cannabis; regretfully smokers are not a option for me.
