Hi, I’m Harihar, a 24-year-old guy who recently moved to Charlotte from India for a new role at Amazon at the DLT8 delivery station off Old Statesville Road. I’m looking for a private room with a private bathroom in a clean, quiet, and respectful home.

A key thing to know upfront is my shift schedule. I work overnight at Amazon from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM and sleep during the day from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. That window is essentially my night, so I need the apartment to be quiet during those hours — no loud calls, music, parties, or loud chores near my room. Normal living at reasonable volume is completely fine, and I’ll return the same courtesy when you’re sleeping.

What I’m looking for in a roommate: clean and tidy, respectful of shared spaces, mindful of noise during my sleep hours, mature, and drama-free. No smoking indoors.

What I bring: I keep common spaces clean, pay rent and bills on time, and I’m a stable, low-maintenance, drama-free roommate with a steady job.

budget 1000 to 1100 dollars per month (utilities included preferred but flexible), looking in University City, Northlake, south Huntersville, or anywhere within a 10-minute drive of Old Statesville Road. Move-in late May or early June 2026, open to a 6 to 12-month lease. I’ll have my own car within a few weeks.
