Uptown/Edgewater ideal, broader Northside and near-Loop fine. Transit access a must. Standard ~1yr lease. Budget up to $1400 for the right fit, $1200 sweet spot, down to $900.

Tidy. Home all day for work and need quiet during the day; early start keeps me reasonable as a night owl. Sociable but keep to myself; won’t be hanging in shared space much. Don’t cook a lot.

420-friendly (scentless vape, you wouldn’t know). Light drinker, into beers and cocktails. Guests fine if they’re not rude. Roommate who smokes weed is fine. Love pets except cats (allergy) — others welcome if reasonably quiet.

Into arts, media, culture. Movie guy above all. Constantly watching, discussing, hitting cinemas and film meetups, Music Box and AMC River East will be my regulars. Extensive Plex library to share. Want to explore Chicago’s alt-comedy scene as well as music, I’m into ambient, post-rock, jazz, indie, metal. My preference for video gaming comes in waves.
