A middle age professional, I’m looking for roommates simply because I don’t like living alone. I want to live a middle-upper class, 9-5 working lifestyle having come from a chaotic period in my life. I enjoy reading, board games, compelling conversations, tea, and cozy, couch co-op video games.

Why now ? I used to own and run a 5 bedroom shared house with mostly LGBT+ roommates. For awhile, we switched to fostering, but all our kids are adults and mostly moved out. My previous (platonic) partner is moving into their own home, and we don’t want to live together anymore (it’s amical, just lifestyle differences).

Though I myself am a post-op, trans woman, but I don’t really want to live an LGBT lifestyle anymore. Regardless, I’m open to both cis and trans roommates as long everyone is aspiring to a reserved normalcy. This is, I don’t want to walk into a queer polycule nor manage a tentative peace with a transphobe. However, I transitioned more than a decade ago, and it’s not a focus of my personality anymore.

I do have experience as a foster parent and I’m open to help with children, but I can’t be the sole caregiver and don’t want to schedule my work around children anymore.
