Hi, I’m Marius. I’m German, moved to the Bay Area about two years ago, and work at an AI startup, so yes, I am unfortunately at risk of becoming a San Francisco stereotype.
I’m looking for a place in the city, ideally near Jackson Square / FiDi or in nearby neighborhoods like North Beach, Telegraph Hill, Russian Hill, Nob Hill, or surrounding areas. I’m open to joining an existing place, but I’d also be excited to team up with one or two people and find a great apartment together.
I’m looking for something longer-term if the fit is right. More than just finding a room, I’d love to live with people I genuinely get along with and could become friends with. I care a lot about having good roommate dynamics, a friendly home atmosphere, and people who enjoy hanging out sometimes while still respecting each other’s space.
Outside of work, I like going to the gym, social dancing, mainly Argentine tango and bachata, staying active, exploring the city, and catching up with friends. During the week I usually keep a pretty steady routine, and on weekends I’m often out and about.
Ideally, I’m looking for friendly, respectful roommates, good vibes at home, and an easy commute to Jackson Square / downtown SF
