I’m a well-rounded guy with a pretty carefree attitude and a good sense of humor, which I think is essential in any roommate situation. I’d prefer living with another male or couple. I’m turning 57, but honestly people usually think I’m around 45. Credit goes to Crest Whitestrips, sunscreen, and being a San Diego native. I work full-time as a phlebotomist at the Family Health Center in Mission Beach, so I’m usually out the door by 8 AM. Outside of work, I’m a huge movie fan and usually catch a film once or twice a week. At home, I love a great TV and surround sound setup (which will stay in my room). I also come from a design background and I’m very handy with projects and fixing things. I’m one of those nerds you’ll still find sitting in a coffee shop reading an actual book. Cleanliness, respect, and good energy matter a lot to me. I’d love to live with someone who appreciates aesthetics, communicates well, and can laugh. Ideally, I’d like a roommate situation where we can actually become friends, not just two people awkwardly passing each other in the hallway. I definitely need my own bathroom, and I’m a big dog and animal lover. I lost my pit bull last year after 13 amazing years, so pets are always welcome in my world. I do drink occasionally and go out once in a while, but I’m definitely not a partier. I’m drug-free and 420 friendly. I’m not a smoker myself, but I don’t mind if you are. I haven’t had a roommate since I was 20, so this will definitely be an adventure. I do ride a motorcycle hybrid, so having a safe, secure place for it is important to me — ideally a garage or protected parking area where I can lock it up safely. Looking for a comfortable, clean, drama-free home with good people and positive vibes.
