Hi, I am relocating from Springfield, IL to the Chicago area for work. My job is in Des Plaines , and I’m looking for a room to rent within 20–30 minutes of my workplace. Because the housing market is competitive, I plan to keep my current place in Springfield and stay in Evanston/ Skokie temporarily until I purchase my own home. I will be moving in August and expect to rent for a month or longer. I am a clean, friendly, responsible, social, middle‑aged professional woman, and I work from home two days a week. Will never bring guests.
