My name is Isaac. I am currently looking for a room in Burlington from May 24 to Oct 2.

A bit about myself: I have been hired as a Firefighter for the City of Burlington. I will be attending the fire academy for the City of Burlington Fire Department through the above dates. I am looking for a quiet place to recover and study during the academy, which is Mondays through Fridays 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. I imagine that I will be travelling down to the Hudson Valley in New York most weekends to see my wife, who is staying there wrapping up a job. I have been living in a Zen Buddhist residential temple since Oct 2025 with my wife and two roommates so am generally comfortable living with others. I will be focusing on doing well in the academy, so will mostly be studying, mediating, working out at a gym, sleeping or at the firehouse. I am generally conscientious. I enjoy and practice clean, clear, and non-passive aggressive communication. I love dogs, cats, humans and creatures of all types. I have been described as a human golden retriever. I am 33 years old and male presenting. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer and formerly worked with refugees for the federal government.
