I moved to PDX in 2024 from southern Oregon where I lived for 12 years. Originally I am from Colorado & Nebraska plains region. My adult, PSU graduate son lives in PDX and said, “Come on up!”, which I did with a great job opportunity at PPMC. I have two sons in Grants Pass who chose to stay with their dad, but as a high schoolers, that is completely understandable, LOL. One is a now a freshman at community college in southern Oregon and spends his time with his friends and work there when not in class. My HS sophomore comes up to visit a weekend about every month due to his school and AAU basketball that consumes his time. I work bankers hours, so M-F it’s just wash, rinse, repeat -you know? You know. Weekends are for errands, cooking, resting, music, catching up with my oldest son. I do not have pets, smoke, or drink; I am tolerant towards those who do, though; CBD is my friend, cannabis is fine for others. I play clarinet and keyboard; I have a large car and can practice clarinet in it if noise is an issue; keyboard has headphone option.
