I want to live somewhere that my roommate(s) and I can live our lives as if the other does not exist. I do not want to be acknowledged or feel obligated to fill the “void” that seems to exist in many scenarios. I will be clean and follow basic etiquette; but I want to simulate living on my own. I do not care what my roommate does, and conversely, I do not exist (except to ensure my impact on the communal space is negligible, within reason…)
