Mari

I’m Mari — 31, queer, Black, and currently based in Seattle. I’m originally from Michigan, spent a few years in DC, then did grad school in Boston/Cambridge before landing in Seattle about two years ago.

I work as a consultant for a local marketing and communications firm. I’m hoping to move into a shared space to cut costs and live in community again — I’ve spent a lot of time in shared housing and even lived in an intentional/co-op home for about two years before grad school, so I’m super used to living with folks and keeping a space warm and respectful.

A bit about me: -I have a car (classic Seattle Subaru lol) -I love dancing — mostly bachata and salsa (go 2–3 times a week!) -Big fan of theater, live performance, and movies (Theater Off Jackson is a fave)

• Comfort show = Bob’s Burgers (total Linda energy, but more chill) -Also into video games and co-watching TV with subtitles

I’m pretty extroverted — I like hanging out, chatting, or body-doubling while we work, but I’m also good at reading the room and giving people their space. I’m usually up around 9am and wind down around midnight. My partner lives in the Central District and would come by occasionally.

I really value a home that’s friendly, respectful, and welcoming — where folks say hi in the kitchen and maybe share a meal or a playlist every now and then.
