I recently moved here from Cincinnati, OH (Chicago native) for work to Mount Vernon/Alexandria. I would be looking for at least 3 months with the opportunity to extend (honestly if it’s a good fit it would probably be at least 6 months). I have to move out of my current space by the end of May and I’ve only been here since April 1st. My current landlords need the space for family because of a family emergency, which is unfortunate for me, so I’m trying to find another place to land. I’m super busy getting used to a brand new job/career, so it’s been challenging. I have to be out of town the first week of June for work travel/training so I’d be hoping to move in by May 31st at the very latest (would prefer earlier.) I am a speech language pathologist transitioning into working directly for a cochlear implant manufacturer. My territory I cover is Virginia/Maryland/DC so I work from home, but I also travel depending on what events I have going on and how many in-person patient meetings I have. I’m super outgoing, adventurous and looking to make new friends and community. I’m in a huge life transition right now, so community is important to me.
