I’m a Ph.D. student in clinical psychology moving to the Hartford area to start a one-year training program at the Newington VA (starts July 1)! I will be moving far from out of state, and hope to have a little bit of time to unpack and settle in before my new position starts.

I’m passionate about my work as a trauma therapist, love to be outside, enjoy a lot of live music, and am always told I have a really warm presence. I’m looking forward to biking around to explore the city, having picnics in the parks all around Hartford, making new friends, visiting the Wadsworth, and traveling to see my friends and family in New York!

I am a great roommate because I am considerate and flexible, so I am always on top of accommodating others’ needs and feelings! I would love a situation where I’m friendly with roommates and we have fun together, but my priority is having a comfortable and peaceful home base as I get into a busy new job and head out for a lot of weekend trips.

My ideal locations are West Hartford or downtown Hartford, but I’m also open to neighboring towns like New Britain, Glastonbury, or Middletown. Would be open to mostly to the south of the region (because I will have some work in New Haven): New Britain,

I am ideally looking for a one-year lease, but might be interested in a summer sublet (approx 7/1-9/1) because there is a friend I’d like to live with who can only move me in on 9/1!

I am only interested in situations where I live with other women, or LGBTQ folks of all genders.
