Hi all, I’ll be moving to Portland in early July to start a new job at a university nearby. I’m originally from Germany but have bounced around the past decade — mostly the US, with a good stretch in Scotland in between.

I’m pretty easy to live with and have a real love of cooking. I tend to make too much and share it. I try to spend time outdoors running or hiking, skiing in winter, riding my motorcycle when the weather cooperates. I do not have pets of my own, but I’m happy to live with yours.

I have shared apartments many times before and appreciate a warm, social, and communal environment (sharing meals, cooking and watching a movie together) but also appreciate an evening to myself from time to time.

I’m looking to live with people around a similar stage in life (professionals, grad students, postdocs).
