Hello! I am an incoming UMD Graduate Student looking for a private unfurnished living space, ideally a room with a separate space for remote work, starting August 1st 2026. I am looking for basement apartments given they have adequate light from windows. I have a hard upper limit of $1500/month, including utilities. I am especially interested in spots with outdoor space/natural light as I have a large number of plants. I am happy to look with a roommate, but prefer to live alone.
I am a horticulturist and beekeeper who has been living in New York City for the past five years. I would be open to a work exchange (landscape work, edible gardening, flower garden, interior plant design and care, etc.) to offset rent.
