Hi! I’m Aleks (said like Alex), I’m 30, non-binary, and a student. I’m looking for a room or roommates near Cal State LA- I’ll be starting my bachelor’s in public health this fall. Ideally I’d like to move in the next 2 weeks, and can be ready with rent and a deposit whenever. I’m pretty flexible on location, preferably within 5 miles of the school. LGBTQ+ friendly, and I don’t have gender preferences for roommates. I don’t need parking, or have any space requirements, I smoke but like to keep it out the house. No issues with pets, smoking , or drinking! My budget is around $1000 a month.

Outside of school and work I keep a very active lifestyle, and travel often as I can. I also like to cook, watch movies, hike, visit museums and do some light crafting. I’m usually out for most of the day but when I’m home I’m pretty quiet and use my time to re-center. I do really enjoy being in shared spaces and want to be able to chill, have a good conversation, or eat together. Keeping a relatively clean and calm space is important, but I’ve struggled with depression so I completely get that tidiness can’t always be the most urgent.
