October Vance

I am a nonbinary female, currently taking testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. My schedule is pretty inconsistent, but I like to plan ahead rather than act sporadically. I am very creative, loving hands-on work; such as crocheting, making bracelets, drawing, and many other hand-crafts. I like to express myself through my style; jewelry, clothing, makeup, and dyeing my hair! I have a love for all animals (and most bugs), but I do have a preference for cats. I am actively seeing a therapist and psychiatrist for help with my depression, anxiety, and a couple other mental disorders that I do not want to disclose publicly. I am attending Weber State University for general studies, but have a CNA license and am working towards getting an RN license. I love helping people, and often struggle putting my own needs first. I love being social, but have trouble initiating conversation and contact. I am currently living in the UV dorms, and am looking for somewhere else to stay for the summer (at least). I like to bake, garden, and trying new things—especially hobbies! My primary ideals are “better safe than sorry” and “can’t knock it ’til you try it!” I am very mindful (sometimes too much so and overthink little things) and prefer to solve conflict by talking things out. There is much more to learn about me, which I would be happy to share as I get to know you as well.
