I’m Sarah, a working professional starting a new hybrid job in Silver Spring.

My day to day would be working from home 3 days per week, ideally in a space that’s not my bedroom, with evenings spent in or exploring the area’s cultural spots and cafes.

My living style is quiet and peaceful. The loudest I might get is playing guitar and singing in the evenings or on the weekends, but even that’s very quiet. I prefer being social out of the home so I have a serene refuge to return to, but don’t mind if there are gatherings where I live. I love animals, but have none of my own that I would bring with me.

I strive to respect common areas and spaces, and like to maintain open communication lines with my room mates in case anyone has any concerns. I’d prefer a room mate(s) who is interested in socializing, but also have no problem with a distanced but respectful and friendly co-habitation situation as long as we have good communication lines.

My ideal housing situation would have a dedicated working space outside of the bedroom where I could do my 9-5 for 3 days per week, just so I’m not working and sleeping in the same place.
