Elizabeth

I grew up in Queens, NY and moved to CT when I got married, over 40 years ago. I am now 71 and worked at Red Cross until our son was born to be a stay-at-home mother. My husband still works however, this summer and maybe longer will be doing much work out of state in a rural area. I would like to live in New Haven for a while, and will stay with my husband for many weekends. When our son got a bit older I still stayed home, yet volunteered at a community and then at his school for seven years. Since then I have been continuing to volunteer in addition to taking courses at a community and also senior citizen center, and would like to continue doing this. I truly enjoy helping others and being in touch with people of all different backgrounds. Our son moved out of state after college and my husband and I still share a house with quite a diverse group of people, many of whom we have kept in touch after they moved elsewhere. I am easy-going and feel that respect for others and home is very important. Thank you.
