Hi, I’m Josie! I’m moving to Tallahassee from Europe in early June to start my PhD in Literature with a focus on science fiction and environmental humanities, so I expect that taking up most of my time. Outside of that, I love being outdoors, particularly going for walks and hiking, but I have also dabbled in a variety of other activities and I’m very invested in outdoor education. I also love discovering the local art scene wherever I live, but I equally enjoy quiet time at home cooking, crafting, watching movies, or just relaxing. I’m pretty easygoing when it comes to living with others. I’d be happy to hang out and do things together, but I also really respect personal space in case a more independent roommate dynamic is preferred. I’m clean, organised, adaptable and considerate, and I value a respectful and inclusive home environment. I’m open to people from all backgrounds and lifestyles, and I’d hope for the same in the people I live with. Additionally, I don’t smoke or drink (but I don’t mind if you do), and I’m very pet-friendly – especially a fan of cats!
