(Profile photo is me with my friend Mel) I’m a friendly, healthy senior who works to supplement my Social Security. I recently received my New Mexico substitute teacher license and expect to be busy soon. I taught ESL overseas (Korea, Japan, Oman, UAE) for many years and moved back to the US in 2018. I don’t mind cleaning, though sometimes my bedroom will seem cluttered - but I’m tidy elsewhere in the house. Recently I’ve become addicted to historical romances on my Kindle, but I also enjoy certain TV programs and movies. I have a laptop computer and am comfortable with tech, but not a techy. My cat’s name is Kinky. I adopted him after he was basically abandoned by his owners. He’s orange & white with a short kinky tail. He’s about 7 years old, neutered, and friendly with adults and older kids. He would have to introduced gradually to another cat. He became friends with my neighbor’s cat in my backyard in Eugene. I have a car (Subaru Forester). I’m a life-long Democrat, so no MAGA or Trump supporters for roommates/housemates please!
