Kona

Hi! My name is Kona! :3 I’m escaping TN and making the move to the Willamette Valley to live in a place I’ve always dreamed of. (Also a state that’s safer for me. That too. Big time.)

I’m transfem, goth, a musician (don’t worry I wear headphones 90% of the time), am pretty handy around the house , and I am a former personal chef. (I love to cook for people!) LGBTQ+ preferred, but not a dealbreaker.

I am very clean, fair minded, and easy going.

I have a very sweet, small, fixed, very codependent, always uses the litter box, mildly mischievous tortie cat named Noogit. If you give her pats and a bite of a ritz cracker she will love you forever.

My Pros: I come pre-packaged with a megaton of media. Movies, videogames, books, and music that I am happy to share as long as you’re respectful of it. I have multiple tvs, and can put one in the common room ( or wherever) if it needs one. I have semi-professional cookware and utensils, a sous vide, micro deep fryer, tako yaki machine, etc. I love art in all forms and will rarely turn down an art or crafting buddy. I don’t smell bad. I do often smell of a gentle perfume. Will leave you baked goods on the counter. Will do my fair share of chores. I’m not bothered by doing gross stuff like taking out trash, cleaning sink/garbage disposal, catching bugs to put back outside, etc.

My Cons: I am currently in-between jobs BUT I have enough money in savings and investments to sustain me for roughly a year. I also sell cards and retro games on Ebay and do occasional voice work. (I am also looking for work in my career constantly since my team was let go due to AI in July, the market is just very bad for enterprise IT sales professionals right now. Always have interviews lined up and might even have a remote job before the move.)

I can laugh kinda loud. I stay up pretty late sometimes, so I may get a bowl of cereal at like 2am on occasion. I prefer to spend time with friends or partners so I like to have someone over, but conversely like to stay at peoples houses often as well. Obviously not without notice or general discussion. If I can get established quickly enough, I’d likely want my own place at some point, but I’m open to whatever makes sense.

I’m long winded if you can’t tell lol Hope this is enough to go off of! I promise I’m fun and respectful! I just really need a place ASAP!
