I’m Forbes — I am the last Cowboy in this town. a well-traveled, warm-hearted individual with a life story that’s taken me from the historic Appalachian mountains of Hot Springs, Virginia to five-star hotels and resorts around the world. I grew up in Bath County, one of the most beautiful and storied corners of Virginia, and that upbringing gave me a deep appreciation for home, community, and treating people right. My career has been anything but ordinary — I trained as a chef in fine dining, earned my certification in aircraft mechanical engineering through the Aviation Institute of Maintenance working on private and corporate jets, and even spent time as a competitive snowboarder in Crested Butte, Colorado. A life spent in hospitality and corporate sales means I know how to be considerate, personable, and easy to be around — I’ve been told more than once that I’m a social butterfly, and I’d say that’s probably true. After ten wonderful years in the Virginia Beach area, I’m looking for a fresh start and a good home. I’m a born-again Christian and a Southern Baptist, and my faith has been the anchor that has carried me through some of life’s hardest chapters. I’m tidy, respectful, and genuinely enjoy good company without imposing on anyone’s space or peace. I have my own vehicle and a valid license, so I’m fully independent. I’m on disability and my income is stable and consistent — rent will never be a concern.
