Hello! I am a single man currently living in West Plaza/Westport area with my 13 pound dog Hanzo. I currently am in technical school for a potential job in the IT field but have spent most of my life in sales. I spent half of my life in Colorado where I played in a rock band for about 10 years and was the general manager of several successful stores. Before that I worked as a waiter to make ends meet and to continue playing music. I currently spend my time at school or at home, usually studying and tinkering on a computer project or playing tug of war with my little pal. I am looking to move to an area where I can ride my bike without getting hit by a car (can’t do that downtown) and moving further south from my current location to escape the sirens and chaos of the downtown scene. I am a quiet and meditative person, but I am also very social with the right people and I love to go to concerts around town (my favorite venue is Grinders). I am a reliable person when it comes to rent and bills, I am a good cook and love to make delicious meals of all types in the kitchen (I make a mean Chicken Tikka, and I just maybe Pork Verde for some people recently). I love watching movies, and all sorts of different series. I also enjoy an occasional NBA game (at home) if I can get it on the TV and will of course watch certain NFL games - but I am not a ‘die hard sports fan’. I have a creative mind so I tend to be more interested in books, and computer things, writing and if I have time, making music (don’t worry, I have gear that allows me to stay quiet and non distracting). I am a fierce and deeply compassionate friend to those I connect with and I am a great listener. I do not have a partner or anyone that would be ‘hanging around’ all of the time, as I know a place to live is its own sacred and personal space. I am pretty clean, (bathroom and kitchen) but won’t freak out if something is left out or messed up on occasion. I am open to smokers or non smokers (I have no stickler thing for this) and I like to have an occasional beverage or two but do not take any serious medications or drugs. Some of my favorite movies are: Kill Bill, Office Space, Akira, Anchorman.

I would love to room with someone that is fairly mellow and down to earth, and hopefully share some communal meals and company if the opportunity arises. I have been known to be a very good roommate and I have references upon request. I also have reliable transportation.
About my dog: Hanzo is a Shiapoo (mix of shitzu and mini poodle) - he is super quiet (doesn’t bark much) and is about 1 year 3 months old. He is poddy trained and will not have accidents in the house. He is unconditional love at its finest and I assure you you will fall in love with him. (he is hypo allergenic so he doesn’t shed a lot).

Okay, I know that was a lot, but you don’t know me yet but hopefully you have a better sense of me now. I really want to live somewhere I can ride my bike and am looking in Overland Park, but would be open to other more quiet areas of town (quiet being not in the downtown or city crime area).
