I am a single 46 yr old woman with two awesome, well behaved, non destructive rescue dogs who are very friendly and love housemates, but are accustomed to living in a single room with me. I work from home as a corrective exercise specialist helping people re-learn how to move to get out of chronic pain that is the result of injury or surgery or ingrained postural/mechanical habits. I do not smoke anything or do any drugs or drink alcohol. I am a relatively social introvert who nobody ever suspects of being an introvert, but I really thrive on my alone time and while I would happily engage with housemates, for the most part I’d be keeping to myself and not initiating that very much. I suffer from MCS: multiple chemical sensitivity, which is the reason I’m currently looking for new housing. I am sickened by chemical fragrances and the like that are now so utterly pervasive and overpowering in personal care and household products of all kinds, from laundry detergent and all the “scent boosters” to plug in and spray “air fresheners” and on and on… I am hoping to find similarly sensitive people who want to keep those chemicals out of their space, but who, like me, love animals and do not have pet allergies. I would love to be able to pool resources and share a larger home ideally in a not terribly residentially dense area with the best outdoor air quality we can find.
