I’m a tech professional in my forties looking for a long-term roommate who values a calm, respectful home. I work in IT, occasionally from home, but you’d barely know it. I’m usually the guy in the corner with his headphones on, lost in a book or on a game. Mornings start at the gym then work. Evenings are quiet and low-key – gaming, reading, and winding down early. Shared spaces are something I take seriously, as I have had other roommates. The kitchen and bathroom will always be left clean and ready for the next person. I am ready to be added to the chore schedule. I do come with one addition: a cat, whose care and responsibility fall entirely on me. I am currently trying to find housing for my little one, as the reality of finding a place that would accept her has hit me.
