The pros as me as a Roomate: I’m always if not mostly picking after myself , and my own space, trash, and laundry. I am willing to occasionally help out to compensate for your part of the chores but I need consistent if not some level of on going communication just so we’re on the same page ! I’m also here just another human willing to connect and be there for you if need me for emotional or physical support (like heavy chores ) at times but at the end of the day I like having my own space to recharge and time and I rather we stick to ourselves for the most part ! This is also I prefer having separate bathrooms ! So that brings us to some cons with me: I mostly eat take out , and use compostable / disposable plates and spoons. I just have some phobia in the sharing germs, and in tolerating certain smells. But if absolutely necessary I’m willing to accommodate and work around my phobias and push through and wash them, but I know two person worth of dishes it’s just something I just prefer to stay away from so is why I use my disposable things. I also don’t like sharing laundry much at all, but I can help you move you stuff when it’s done and you can’t get to it in time to your respective basket. But I do expect you mostly do your own laundry and I do mine and that’s all there is to it! I hope this doesn’t come across as to demanding or too upfront , and I’m willing to adapt but theses are just preferences I have and just being transparent on what it’s mostly going to look like living with me as a Roomate, and looking for anyone that is compatible!
