I am a soon-to-be graduating undergraduate searching for my next home near my place of work. The possibilities available in the denser parts of Montgomery are exciting - especially since I am living a car-free lifestyle.

Daily lifestyle you can expect from me:

• [Sleep schedule] An early bird. I make attempts to sleep by 2100 and wake by 0500 - but we know how that goes.
• [Employment] Working 8-to-17 as a state employee.
• [No Parking] I do not (re:will not) own a car.
• [Bike Storage] I have two bikes that I will need to be stored securely - preferable indoors.
• [Transportation] I do not want to be dependent on your car, and I do not expect you to be a taxi.
• [Lifestyle] Seeks to spend time with people or hobbies instead of doomscrolling.

Qualities and preferences you can expect from me:

• [Experience] First-time renter out of college.
• [Cleanliness] Tidy but a bit dense.
• [Guests] Meetups over bringing guests over.
• [Fair Expectations] I try my best to understand what is expected of me, even though I am not the best when it comes to intuition.
• [Family-friendly] I prefer family-friendly environments where the company of others can be enjoyed and cherished.
• [Noise-tolerant] Less tolerant to excessive noise between hours 2200 and 0400.
• [Hobbies] Board games | Cycling | Badminton | Watch parties | And more to come.

Considerations for renting:

• [RM Agreements] Boundaries and cleaning duties will be discussed early on but flexible to later adjustments if needed.
• [Move-in dates] Currently, anytime June or later. This is a flexible measure, since I can stay in temporary housing until a long-term situation is attainable.
• [Indefinite stay] Looking for a semi-long-term arrangement until I continue education.
• [Flexible budget] I am willing to pay whatever price is comparable to the value of living with you. I expect to pay my portion amounting to $600-$1200 per month for single or double room housing. I would imagine it to cost less with 4+ roommates.
