Sydney & Keri

Keri and I are a married couple looking for a quiet, spacious, but cozy place to call home for the next year or two as I attend OHSU. We are looking for a place where we can spread out a bit and are open to renting two rooms in a larger setting or taking over an entire lease. We would prefer to live with older women as we are “old souls” who tend to find companionship with folks who have been around a bit longer than we have. (Of course, age is truly just a number). I have experience in geriatric medicine and would be open to a living situation in which an elder may need a bit of support here or there (although I will be busy studying and unavailable for frequent or consistent care-giving).

We enjoy knitting, crafting, reading, discussing history, writing, researching, cozying up with tea, and going to bed early. On the weekends, we like to get out and explore. When we feel like being outdoor cats, we love to go to art museums, festivals, shows, and spend time in nature. Keri and I are both very communicative, clean, laidback, responsible, and compassionate.

Keri and I are both (mostly) introverts with socially-demanding jobs, so we prefer to keep to ourselves when we are home. However, we do–on occasion–enjoy a small gathering with likeminded folks.

Keri will be working a hybrid remote job while I am in school 8-5pm M-F. We are both very conscientious people to live with/rent to and enjoy being in community with fellow lesbians. We are open to signing a new lease with 1-2 other roommates who are preferably strong allies or fellow queer people. We would also prefer very limited drugs/alcohol in the home as both of us do work in addiction and are sober in solidarity with the folks we support.
