I am a former English professor. I am well educated and stable. I am very artistic and like to draw and paint. I love to cook. (In fact, I am working on writing a cookbook at the present time.) I am at 450 pages now and friends tell me to stop soon– no one needs a 5,000-page cookbook!

I love to travel to new locations. I try to walk at least three-five miles a day. As for my audio entertainment, I enjoy pop, rock, opera and classical music. I play music that fits my mood at the time. I also own earbuds… hehe

And I definitely do not act my age! I refuse to act like a 74-year-old! As they say, age is “simply a number.” I have a very interesting since of humor. I am also gay.

I am very mindful of other’s spaces and privacy. I tend to be on the shy/quiet side. I do not party. Although, I do like meeting nice and interesting people for a conversation about most things. A roommate that is a conversationalist would be ideal; but I also respect quiet times as well.

I am looking for a furnished room. I would prefer a private bath, but that is not chiseled in stone. I prefer to be close to public transportation. I do not smoke. I do like wine with dinner. Other than that, contact me if you have other related questions.

I currently live in Hollywood, Florida in a 2br/2ba, 1,600 sq ft condo, that I own. My intention is to locate a roommate in the Santa Monica area or close to it, that is willing to rent a room for 6-month period at a time. I would prefer to spend my summers in California. (Since I have a condo, I would be willing to let my roommate come to visit when I am back here in South Florida.)
