Eriko

I am an elementary school teacher from Japan with a passion for education and cultural exchange. I was honored to receive a grant that brought me to the United States, where I have been able to share the richness of Japanese culture and arts here in Phoenix. I currently serve as an Education Outreach Program Coordinator, a role that allows me to connect people with meaningful learning experiences rooted in Japanese tradition. I believe that culture and the arts have the power to build bridges between people from all walks of life. I am friendly, open-minded, and organized — values that guide both my teaching and my outreach work. I look forward to learning from and collaborating with everyone I meet along the way!
